I am Rob J. Whale.
A Multi-instrumentalist, Songwriter and Artist from Portsmouth. I’m now living in Brighton and working nationwide.
I began my journey behind a Drum-kit as a young and wide-eyed musician, from there my talent spanned from Bass to Guitar, Keyboards, Harmonica and anything else i could get my hands on.
This has now resulted in over 13+ years in the industry, 100+ live and studio sessions, multiple UK tours (and fresh off the back of a recent European tour), significant major festival slots including; Isle of Wight Festival, Kendall Calling, Tramlines & Boomtown.

Having worked with artists of all calibre from school students to legendary bluesmen of old, performing in prestigious venues to festival main-stages and bringing a level of dedication and passion, no matter the genre or instrument, I have yet to find any musical task that I cannot fulfil.
Fully equipped with everything needed for the many roles of the music industry with a full professional live set-up for every instrument, I am gig-ready at a moments notice.
I have also previously achieved a Grade 8 Distinction award leading to an ever growing list of accolades and experiences.

Available for entire tours, single shows or contract.
Rates starting from £80.

All forms of In-Studio Tracking / Live Recording both solo and collaboratively, including;
Drums, Guitar, Bass, Keyboards, Vocals, Percussion, Harmonica.
Available for entire albums, singular tracks or loops.
Remote recording capabilities also available.
Rates starting from £20/hr.
